Who we are, and where your money goes

Minneriya Safari Sri Lanka is run by GrabCab (Pvt) Ltd, a registered Sri Lankan company. We also run Yala Safari Sri Lanka in the south.

We started this site because booking an elephant safari was harder than it should be. Prices were hidden. Nobody told you the elephants had moved to another park. And people got stuck at the gate without a passport or the right cash.

So we keep it simple: one price per jeep, every fee shown, honest advice about which park to go to, and nothing to pay on the day.

Where your money goes

The biggest part of every jeep price, roughly two-thirds to three-quarters of it, goes straight to the local jeep owner and driver who take you out. The rest pays for running this service: answering your messages, booking your jeep, checking park information and keeping this website going.

Park ticket money goes to the government, all of it. We don't add anything on top.

If we get something wrong

Park fees and rules change. If you spot something out of date on this site, tell us and we'll fix it and note the date. Every fee on this site shows when we last checked it.
